Welcome to March at The Scrapbook Site! We have two gorgeous kits for you this month, PLUS our sister site A Walk Down Memory Lane, is turning 5 years old this month! We will be having some fun over at the message board, we'll show off some great projects from this month's guest designers, we'll be announcing our new Design Team, we're hosting a party day on March 9 over at Willow Traders (for their 3rd anniversary), and of course we'll be having some great bargains at the store throughout the month.
But first...I need to introduce you to our March kits. The first kit is called Spring Morning. This gorgeous kit includes Making Memories Garden Party papers mixed with Imaginisce For Peep's Sake papers. These two lines are a beautiful mix of pastels perfect for any spring morning. There are specialty papers galore in this kit including glitter on EVERY Imaginisce paper, two diecut papers from Making Memories, and the new Bazzill Stitch'z cardstock. You get a mix of embellishments as well from Making Memories, Imaginisce, and Prima. We introduced this kit during our Leap Day sale so our quanities are very limited. You'll want to shop early to make sure and get your hands on this kit!
The second kit this month is called Sillypea after it's designer. During our crop last month, we put out a challenge to our bulletin board members to design a kit. We gave thema budget and told them they had to include a mix of companies, embellishments, and papers. Jenn did a great job with this kit using Pink Martini Designs Flirtini papers and Studio 8 Playground papers. This fun mix is great for any pictures needing a fun and funky look! She found some great embellishments as well in Bo Bunny, Imaginisce, Heidi Swapp, Me and My Big Ideas, Doodlebug, Prima and Deluxe Designs. Because this was a special edition kit, quanities are already low, so you'll want to act fast to make sure you get one of these awesome kits!
Our guest designers for March have all gotten their kits and are busy at work creating some cool layouts, cards and altered arts projects for you! We'll be showing off their work throughout the month here on the blog and in our newsletters.
