March's Guest Designer #5

Taylorvb The last Guest Designer for March is Taylor Van Bruggen.  She is an amazing card and paper artist and I am thrilled to have her as a guest DT member for March!  I have known Taylor for almost 4 years now.  We met when my sister was in college and Taylor was her roommate.  We've met a few times at various scrapbook shows, and I last saw her again at CHA this winter.

Taylor has totally inspirational blog called Taylored Expressions.  She posts cards, paper arts projects and has even ventured into sketches and challenges on "Cupcake Friday"!  How fun is that!?

So, now you know who our designers are...stay tuned to the blog 'cuz tomorrow's the first so that means you'll be able to see the kits up close and personal!  These 2 kits are a fun set this month!  One is a very fun and funky retro kit with Pink Martini Designs and Studio 8 papers.  The other is very pretty and pastel and ready for Spring or Easter.  The papers in this kit are Making Memories Garden Party and Imaginisce For Peep's Sake.  See you tomorrow!

March's Guest Designer #4

Trudeesauer Trudee Sauer is our fourth Guest Designer for March.  I have followed her blog for some time now, and was so excited to meet her at CHA this winter!  She was working at the Copic booth and gave me a quick tutorial on shading with the Copic markers.  I am so excited to be able to stock them in the store soon, because these markers are AMAZING!  They are alcohol based markers and blend beautifully, but my favorite part about them is NO STREAKS!

I also love love love the Copic Spica markers because they give a shimmer and glitter like no other marker I've ever seen.

Trudee was sent one of our March kits and I included one of the add-on clear stamps from the line as well, so I'm sure we'll see some gorgeous cards and projects from Trudee!  If you check her blog, you'll want to book mark it because there are so many cool tutorials on there for card making and stamping!

March's Guest Designer #3

Ksdlogo  The third guest designer for March is Kelly Schults.  She may be familiar to some of you who dabble in the digital scrapbook world, as she is an AMAZING digital designer.  She designs kits for 2 different sites and has some beautiful freebies available at her site as well.

We all fell in love with her designs in January, although some of you may not know it.  :)  She is the Designer of the Delight Papers from Dream Street Papers that were featured in our Fire and Ice kit.  She also has a new paper line from Dream Street that was announced at CHA called Art Nouveau.

Even though Kelly is a digital designer, she says her first love is paper.  We're excited to see what Kelly comes up with, using one of our March kits.

March's Guest Designer #2

Lizzieanndesigns_2 Meredith Ethington is the other half of Lizzie Anne Designs.  She is the co-owner and also a designer of the stamps that we love!  She has a blog called "Anne's Little Treasures" where she posts beautiful cards and projects using mainly Lizzie Anne stamps.  She also hosts a challenge using a sketch each week on her blog, so you'll want to be sure to head on over and check it out!

We are so excited to see what Meredith comes up with using our March kits and I'm sure you'll see some cool Lizzie Anne Design stamps used too!

March's Guest Designer # 1

Lizzieanndesigns We are so excited to announce our countdown to March's Guest Design team!!  We have 5 AWESOME designers lined up for the month of March.

They will be designing using our 2 monthly kits throughout the month.  We'll be posting some of their designs here on the blog, we'll showcase them in our newsletter, and they'll be posting on their blogs as well.  So, you'll want to check out the designers' blogs for new inspiration too!  We are sure some of these gals will be new faces to you, as some of them are more involved in stamping and paper arts than they are in scrapbooking.  But hey, we're all about diversity here!  :)  We all love paper, adhesive, ink, flowers, bling, etc.  So, let's start with the first Guest DT member.

Tricia Ulberg is one of the co-owners of Lizzie Ann Designs stamps.  We carry pretty much their entire line at the store at A Walk Down Memory Lane.  She has a blog called "Letters from Lizzie" where she posts lots of cute card ideas and about life in general.  I got a chance to meet the girls while at CHA and they were the nicest group of gals!  They had a cute booth with all of their stamps and their samples posted.  I wish I would have thought to take some pictures of their cards.  They were too cute!
